Indonesian 3 is for students between intermediate and advanced standing. In this courses students are taught to form verbs, adverbs, adjectives and nouns from the “root-word” by adding prefaces and suffixes. These newly formed words are then used in correct grammatical sentences orally and in writing.
Printout materials of advance standard are used to broaden and deepen their vocabularies. Indonesian culture, history and tradition are taught through learning the language.
During Term 4, we usually organise an excursion to the Indonesian Consulate for the students to see and experience the culture through music, dancing, cuisine and interacting effectively with the Indonesians at the Consulate in Perth.
Language courses provide ongoing learning and are intended to be continued throughout the year, it is advisable to commence in Term One.
